Pramukh Swami Science & H.D.Patel Arts College, affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University has shown development in all dimensions of college/university education.
We have introduced many professional courses for multidimensional career building of the students. This includes Industrial Chemistry (since 1997), Biotechnology (since 2004) and Principal English Literature (since 2005). In order to maintain continuity and consistency in the curriculum we also offer post graduate courses in Pure Chemistry (Organic Chemistry), Industrial Chemistry and Pure Mathematics.
Ours well qualified staff and the institute updates the students by organizing various seminars, conferences and workshops regularly. Our staff is well-versed in the research activity, as a part of which they regularly publish papers and participate in various national and international conferences and present their research work. They have carried out several major and minor research projects sponsored by UGC. Due to this the institute has availed studies up to Ph.D. level.
We encourage our students to take part in various academic as well as cultural activities in college and at the university level to bring out their latent potential. They participate actively in NSS and NCC which has given unique identity to this college. As a result, they have got opportunities at national and international level.
The college has developed a versatile library which consists ample books on different subjects. The college is also equipped with fully furnished computer laboratory with internet access. To add to this infrastructure the college has also established a research laboratory. Apart from this, our institution provides excellent hostel facilities for boys and girls as well.
