College offers various Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and Ph.D. level programs in Science, Arts and Vocational stream. 

• In Science Stream, college offers Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biotechnology at UG level, whereas Chemistry and Mathematics at PG as well as Ph.D level.

• In Arts Stream College offers History, Gujarati, Sanskrit and English at UG level whereas History, Gujarati  at PG as well as Ph.D level.

• In Vocational discipline, under DDU KAUSHAL Kendra, college offers B.Voc  Agriculture and diploma in Ceramic Technology programs by University Grants Commission.

The college takes several initiatives for achieving the holistic objectives with 360-degree developments of students which are as followed:

• Extension Activities : Each department organizes diverse activities to pour Universal values and Ethics, Social responsibilities, Empathy and Human values

• National Services: The College has creditable track record of savior in nature calamities and crisis. The NSS and NCC cell of college are constantly engaged in providing humanitarian services. During the corona pandemic the NSS and NCC volunteers offered their services for corona testing as well as delivering daily necessities to people trapped in lockdown.

• Awareness activities: The college conducts several awareness activities for inculcating social responsibilities like anti tobacco drive, save girl child, save water, swacch Bharat, Election awareness, ek Bharat Shresth Bharat and many more.

• Participative, Practical and experiential teaching Methodology: Field visits, field project, industrial trainings, hands-on training, expert lectures, Organization and participation in conferences, webinars and seminars, bridge courses for fresher’s, remedial classes for slow learners are few noteworthy initiatives of the college to improve the quality of education and keep in pace with global trends.

• ICT based teaching- learning: All the classes are well equipped with projectors additionally virtual class room, Smart Board and visualizers enable the faculties and students both for interactive sessions.

•   Certificate and Value added courses to enhance employability: Every department announces and arranges Certificate and Value added courses to enhance employability skills of students to compete on the global challenging era.

• Library and Learning resources: The college library is open every day from morning 7:30 am to 10:30 pm that is 15 hours for easy access for the students. The library provides rare sections for acquainting students regarding ancient literature and this is unique practice of college library. All the students can access online library from college Library App through their registered mobile numbers.

• Floating Library: Gujarati Department form Arts faculty maintains and propagates vision of Honorable Shree Narendrabhai Modi’s Floating Library concept. This project help students to enhance their reading interests and abilities as books are easily accessible through this project.

• Training for cracking competitive exams: GPSC and UPSC exam preparation classes are held for interested students. Moreover, since last 9 years, the Biotechnology department organizes GSBTM sponsored BTCBC Crash workshop to crack entrance exams at National Level for PG studies.

• Student Start Up and Innovation Programme (SSIP) and Entrepreneurship cell: These both cells provide golden opportunity for molding the students to become job provider rather than job seekers. Furthermore, this may assist unearth innovation which will provide appealing solution to indigenous problems.

•  Industry Linkage: The colleges maintain strong linkages and MOU’s with more than 67 industries through vocational education. This provides ample opportunities to the students in Industrial sector.
